Inkjet Cartridge, Toner, and Refill Kit Reviews

"How to Save Money on Ink for your Printer"

Have you ever gone to your local office supply only to be shocked by the prices for printer ink?  Most inkjet printers today are very inexpensive because they're sold close to cost- the profit margin is in the ink.  It can be very expensive to run a printer with brand name ink.

There are two ways to save money on your inkjet and toner cartridges.

The first is to refill your cartridges.  This is a good idea on some types of cartridge, but nearly impossible on others.  Printer companies have gone out of their way to make refilling cartridges difficult, since selling the cartridges is so important to their profit margin.

The second way to save is by using remanufactured ink cartridges.  There are many places on the web that sell them.

Some questions to ask about online cartridge sellers:
1. Are they reliable?  Do they have your ink in stock and do they deliver promptly?

2. Do they sell a quality product that is compatible with your printer models?

3. Are their prices reasonable?
4.  Do they have reasonable or free shipping?
5.  Is their website easy to navigate and as free of confusion as possible?
6. What is their money-back guarantee?  What assurance do you have that they honor it?

Here are reviews for several online ink suppliers.

Description: 123 Inkjets is the cartridge site I have personally used for several years.

Their prices are not the cheapest, but I have found them to be a reliable source.

Their web site is easy  to navigate with an up-to-date printer list and cartridges listed several ways.  The ink I ordered has been in stock and is delivered promptly, and I have had no quality problems with the ink.
I did have one style ink cartridge that the printer would not accept.  They exchanged cartridges, it still didn't work, and they then refunded my money.

Description:  Price is the thing at Click2Ink.  They state they will undersell anyone and their prices do look very impressive.  However, their stock is very limited , a number of popular cartridges are missing.  Searching for three different printers, I couldn't find any cartridges!
In addition, several of their policies give the impression that they are a small outfit.  It seems that they are open 4 days a week, and put qualifications on their guarantee, like the cartridge must be 70% full (how are you going check that?)
They do have very low prices, though - the lowest I've seen anywhere.   If they happen to stock a model cartridge you need, it might be worth checking.
